Ain Shams University is keen to participate in this exhibition annually with the aim of enriching the educational experience of secondary school students and providing them with the necessary support to help them determine their future educational paths at the university level.
The university offers a package of new and distinguished programs that keep pace with international standards and the requirements of the local, regional, and international labor markets.
These programs offer high-quality education in non-traditional disciplines and a modern educational system that aims to graduate distinguished graduates.
**University College Programs
These programs are distributed across the university's various faculties as follows:
• 19 programs in the Faculty of Education.
• 11 programs in the Faculty of Engineering.
• 8 programs in the Faculty of Al-Alsun.
• 7 programs in the Faculty of Science.
• 6 programs in the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences.
• 5 programs in the Faculty of Archaeology.
• 4 programs in the Faculty of Arts.
• 5 programs in the Faculty of Business.
• 3 programs in the Faculty of Agriculture.
• 7 programs in the Faculty of Girls.
• 2 programs in the Faculty of Nursing.
• 2 programs in the Faculty of Law.
• One program in each of the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
These programs serve as the nucleus of a unique model for developing the educational process and financial resources at universities, primarily following the standards of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education.
The university pays special attention to developing the college infrastructure, including the opening of new halls equipped with the latest global digital technologies, in preparation for the incoming batches of high school and equivalent students. The new specializations in the distinguished programs offer students a unique educational experience that combines academic content with practical training and application. Some programs also allow for dual degrees: one from Ain Shams University and the other from international universities in a number of specializations.
These programs are offered in halls equipped with the latest technology. They offer the opportunity to integrate multiple specializations into the student's chosen field, with a greater emphasis on practical aspects than theoretical ones.
To ensure the quality of their outcomes and their compatibility with the labor market, students wishing to enroll in these programs are required to pass the required entrance exams for some programs or obtain specific grades in the qualifying subjects, given the high demand for the university's programs.
The university adopts scientific marketing plans for its academic and educational programs and services in the Gulf and African countries, in line with the Egyptian state's Vision 2030 strategy and the Ministry of Higher Education's strategy for internationalizing higher education. This aims to attract Egyptian and international students, positively impacting the country's development plans.
Based on its social responsibility, the university oversees the implementation of joint cooperation programs and protocols with external entities and institutions, under which scholarships are offered to outstanding high school students. This is done according to specific conditions and criteria for acceptance, as well as other conditions to ensure their continued access to these scholarships. This goal aims to advance the educational process and raise the academic level of Egyptian students through cultural and knowledge exchange programs.
For example, the university oversees the implementation of protocols with AMIDEAST, the Egyptian Refining Company, AUC, and USAID across its various faculties. These grants are renewed annually, and the collaboration continues for several years to come. This collaboration contributes to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals in Egypt by establishing the pillars of knowledge, innovation, scientific research, economic development, social responsibility, and environmental responsibility within the basic infrastructure of university studies.
The vision of these collaboration agreements is to create a cadre of individuals capable of effecting change, capable of finding solutions to problems, and who respect and uphold societal values while offering solutions to Egypt's development challenges.
The scholarships also target at least 10% of students with special needs, contributing to supporting diversity and collective future growth. In addition to the distinguished higher education provided in some scholarships, these students will receive English language training, entrepreneurship training, career counseling, a semester or summer study abroad in the United States, employment services, and training on mechanisms for comprehensive personal and skill development.
This aims to build a generation of change agents and leaders of development and innovation in Egypt. These scholarships serve as a vehicle for the education available to students, thereby achieving greater economic sustainability, social inclusion, and environmental justice in Egypt by 2030, leading to greater excellence and innovation.
