As part of the celebrations of the holy month of Ramadan, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Education and Student Affairs Sector – General Administration of Youth Welfare, Scouts and Public Service Committee – organized the Ramadan Scout Festival on Wednesday, 25/2/2026, at the Main University Campus (1), with the participation of the university’s faculty scout troops.

The festival was coordinated and administratively supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

The organization of the festival reflects the Sector’s commitment to spreading an atmosphere of joy and positivity among students, while fostering participation and engagement through purposeful student activities. The event featured a variety of artistic workshops for creating Ramadan lanterns and decorations, in addition to diverse handicraft workshops including satin ribbon work, macramé, beadwork, fretwork (scroll saw art), and crochet.

An art exhibition showcasing scout products was also held, where scout students presented their creative works expressing the spirit of celebrating the holy month, in a vibrant atmosphere marked by cooperation and a strong sense of belonging within the university campus.
