Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, chaired the ninth session of the Education and Student Affairs Council for the 2024-2025 academic year. The session was attended by Vice Deans of Education and Student, students from the faculties, and council members, who discussed several important topics aimed at developing the educational process.
At the beginning of the meeting, the President of University extended his greetings to the Council members, the Education and Students Affairs, appreciating their efforts during the final exams for the second semester. He also directed that the results be announced promptly.

The meeting also approved the minutes of the previous session, dated May 13, and the minutes of the Standing Committee's session held on June 3.
The Council also reviewed a proposal to approve study plans for several programs, including the Bachelor of Science and Education (Psychology Department) and the Business Technology Program at the Faculty of Business, along with a number of other topics.
The discussion also addressed some cases of incoming students and regularized their status to ensure they do not conflict with student interests. It also emphasized the importance of establishing controls and instructions to prevent cheating in exams.
The UMS system was also emphasized the need to announce student results based on the cumulative total, along with the corresponding percentage and cumulative average for each student. Furthermore, the President of University assigned Prof. Mohamed El-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs at the Faculty of Law, to establish strict controls for disciplinary boards beginning with the new academic year.
