Launching the 8th Training Camp for the University Scouts

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, through the General Administration of Youth Welfare and the Scouts and Public Service Activity Administration, organized the 8th Training Camp for the university’s male and female Scouts. The camp was held from 27 November to 1 December 2025 at the permanent scouting camp of the Faculty of Agriculture.

The camp was administratively supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector and implemented by the General Administration of Youth Welfare through the Scouts and Public Service Committee.

The camp aims to refine and develop students’ skills in various scouting, artistic, cultural, scientific, and athletic fields, as well as life skills, contributing to the preparation of a conscious generation capable of setting and achieving goals in their practical lives. A group of volunteer trainers, who are distinguished graduates of the university’s Scouts, were invited to provide comprehensive hands-on training across different fields.

A total of 100 male and female Scouts from the faculty clans of Arts, Law, Science, Archaeology, Education, Agriculture, Engineering, Al-Alsun, Specific Education, and Girls participated in the camp’s activities.

The camp’s training program included a variety of activities and workshops, such as artistic and cultural workshops, outdoor life skills, planning and time-management skills, in addition to a range of scouting activities.
