As part of its commitment to empowering its students and graduates and preparing them for the requirements of the labor market, the Faculty of Dentistry at Ain Shams University organized today the Career Forum under the slogan: “Career Forum… Empowering Youth for a Bright Future.”
The distinguished event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedein, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Karim El-Battouti, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry.

The forum was attended by Prof. Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Riham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Amani Mostafa, Director of the Internship and Visiting Residents Unit; and Dr. Amira El-Naggar, Director of the Alumni Follow-up Unit.
The forum aims to strengthen effective communication between the college’s students and graduates and the labor market through a platform that provides access to training and employment opportunities, in addition to exchanging expertise with a distinguished group of experts and specialists from multiple fields.
In her speech, Prof. Reem El-Kabariti, Director of the Alumni Relations Office at Ain Shams University, emphasized that the alumni association represents a vital bridge between the university, its graduates, and the labor market. She noted that the forum seeks to provide real qualification opportunities and outstanding training benefits, calling on graduates to join and participate in the association’s activities to support future generations and reinforce their sense of belonging to the university.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ola Mohamed Sami Ahmed Sadeq, Director of the Career Center, highlighted that developing graduates’ skills—practical, technical, and personal—tops the center’s priorities to keep pace with the changing needs of the labor market. She affirmed that programs are continuously updated in collaboration with training institutions and industry stakeholders to align with the latest trends.
In his remarks, Dr. Mohamed Magdy, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, stated that the center supports youth in transforming their ideas into successful, economically viable projects through training, technical guidance, linking scientific research with industry, and providing funding and support opportunities.
Dr. Islam Adly, Director of the Innovation Clubs Project at Ain Shams University, delivered a lecture reviewing the project’s efforts in fostering a culture of innovation and creativity, particularly among medical students. He stressed that the clubs represent a stimulating environment for discovering talents and turning ideas into practical solutions that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services.
At the conclusion of the forum, the Faculty of Dentistry honored Dr. Islam Adly in recognition of his outstanding efforts in supporting students and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship.
