The Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences Hosts The Annual Iftar Ceremony with Distinguished Academic Leaders and Prominent Figures in Attendance

Amid a distinctive Ramadan atmosphere marked by warmth and camaraderie, the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University organized its annual Iftar ceremony in the presence of Prof. Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities, and Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, along with a distinguished group of academic leaders and prominent figures in the fields of education and digital transformation. The event was held under the supervision of Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty.

         
   
         

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Essam Khalifa, Head of the Computer and Information Sciences Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities; Prof. Mohamed Roshdy, Rapporteur of the Scientific Committee for the Evaluation of Academic Production in Computer and Information Sciences at the Supreme Council of Universities; Prof. Khaled Negm, Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Digital Government; Eng. Mahmoud Badawy, Assistant Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Digital Transformation; Prof. Ahmed Mohamed Hamad, President of Egypt University of Informatics; Prof. Nagwa Badr, President of the University of East London at the European Universities Branch in Egypt; and Prof. Shereen Rady, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences for Community Service and Environmental Development.

         
   
         

The event was also attended by a distinguished group of deans of faculties of computers and information from Egyptian universities, as well as faculty staff, teaching assistants, and administrative staff of the faculty, in a Ramadan atmosphere reflecting the spirit of cooperation and communication and strengthening the sense of belonging within the academic community.

This annual event reflects the faculty’s commitment to fostering a spirit of unity among its members and strengthening relations with its partners from academic leaders and decision-makers, thereby supporting the path of development and innovation within the faculty.
