The final stage of the activities of the “Alsunians Innovate” competition at Ain Shams University

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community and Environmental Affairs, implemented and supervised by Dr. Amna Abdel Aziz, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Unit iHub at the faculty, and in cooperation with the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center ASU iHub, the final activities of the “Alsunians Innovate 4” competition were launched on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, in the conference hall at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

The competition included 11 participations that were evaluated for differentiation out of 20 project ideas that were submitted in the first stage for registration in the Start-up Companies Track and the Innovative Ideas Track.

The jury for the finals of the “Alsunians Innovate 4” competition was composed of:

Prof. Ashraf Attia, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community and Environmental Affairs, Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Student Activities at iClub, Dr. Amna Abdel Aziz, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

Innovative Ideas Track:

first place:

Kirles Salah, a student in the second year of the Turkish Language Department, discussed the idea of “Photogreta”.

Second place:

Student Zainab Ahmed, fourth year, English Department, about the idea of 4in1

Third place:

Student Malak Ashraf, first year of the Italian Language Department, on the idea of saving your mind

The students of the iClub Innovation Club, along with its various committees, which is the student activity affiliated with the unit, organized the competition activities.
