The Faculty of Agriculture Shines in the Heart of New Alamein
As part of Ain Shams University’s commitment to supporting scientific and community activities, strengthening its role in serving society, and linking education and scientific research to development needs, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abdeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel Ghany, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Ahmed Abu El-Yazied, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Dr. Manal Mubarak, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, the Faculty of Agriculture participated in the International Agricultural Exhibition in New Alamein 2026, held in New Alamein City from August 24 to 26, 2026.

The faculty’s pavilion also featured the participation of a number of outstanding students, who presented scientific posters highlighting their research and projects. This reflects the Faculty of Agriculture’s commitment to supporting scientific research, encouraging innovation, developing students’ skills, and providing them with opportunities to present their ideas and experiments while linking academic knowledge to practical applications.
This participation highlights the standing of the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University as a leading scientific, research, and production institution, as well as its continued commitment to transforming academic and research knowledge into applications that serve society and support the advancement of agricultural development in Egypt.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, the top-performing students were honored in recognition of their excellence and outstanding participation. The International Agricultural Exhibition shield was also presented to the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University in appreciation of its effective and distinguished role and participation in the exhibition’s activities.
