In this context, Ms. Sara Salah Mohamed, Assistant Lecturer at the Department of Public Law at the Faculty of Law, has been sponsored to pursue an academic mission at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom for a period of six months. This comes as part of the faculty’s mission program aimed at supporting young faculty staff and teaching assistants, while enhancing their research and academic capabilities in a manner that contributes to advancing the educational and research process and strengthening the faculty’s international presence.

Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty of Law, has continuously supervised and coordinated all procedures related to the mission.

This mission reflects the Faculty of Law’s commitment to expanding scientific cooperation with prestigious international universities and providing young researchers with opportunities to engage with global academic expertise and acquire modern scientific and research skills, thereby positively impacting the quality of education and research within the faculty.

This direction is also aligned with the vision of the Egyptian state and the New Republic, which places strong emphasis on investing in building the capacities of Egyptian citizens and developing their scientific and research competencies as a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development and building a knowledge-based society.

The mission program includes a number of advanced academic and research activities, including academic supervision by a faculty member at the University of Essex, joining an international research team, participating in the university’s legal clinic activities, attending specialized lectures and scientific seminars, as well as benefiting from the scientific resources available at the university libraries and reviewing the latest references and scientific journals in the field.

The faculty further emphasizes the importance of openness to opportunities for study and scientific research abroad, given the valuable added experience they provide to researchers, young faculty staff, and teaching assistants through exposure to the latest research methodologies and interaction with international academic environments.
