As part of supporting educational and cultural exchange and enhancing opportunities for international academic communication, and under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and in collaboration with the International Relations and Academic Cooperation Sector, the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University will host an introductory seminar on Tuesday, May 12 at 12:00 noon.
The seminar aims to introduce postgraduate students, faculty members, and graduates to the programs offered by the Fulbright Commission. It will provide a comprehensive overview of application procedures, admission requirements, and available opportunities for study, scientific research, and professional training in the United States of America, thereby broadening participants’ horizons and supporting their academic and professional careers.
In this context, the Commission has announced the opening of applications for Fulbright programs for the academic year 2027–2028, targeting Egyptian students and professors across various humanities and scientific disciplines, in addition to programs dedicated to American experts and professors, as part of promoting academic exchange and knowledge transfer.
It is worth noting that the Fulbright Commission is a joint Egyptian American organization established under a cooperation agreement between the governments of the two countries in 1949. Over more than seventy-five years, it has devoted its efforts to promoting educational and cultural exchange, thereby strengthening bridges of communication and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
