Under high-level patronage and with the participation of a distinguished group of academic and economic decision-makers, the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University will host its anticipated conference titled: “Partnership with the Business Sector for Employment… An Executive Strategic Framework”, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The conference is held under the patronage of Prof. Hussein Eissa, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs; Prof. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; and Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University. It is coordinated by Prof. Farid Mohram, Dean of the Faculty of Business, and Prof. Gehan Ragab, Advisor to the Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The conference aims to formulate a forward-looking vision that aligns academic curricula with the actual needs of the labor market. Discussions will revolve around five main pillars: developing academic programs and modernizing business school curricula while integrating technological skills; analyzing economic sector needs and future job skills alongside employment challenges; fostering strategic partnerships and building successful collaboration models between universities and businesses; preparing graduates through entrepreneurship, soft skills development, and promoting a freelance work culture; and addressing digital transformation and its impact on the labor market, particularly the role of financial technology (FinTech) and the digital economy in creating job opportunities.
The conference comes as part of the Faculty of Business’s efforts—ranked first among public faculties in the 2026 Eduniversal ranking—to strengthen its role as a leading educational beacon contributing to national economic development.
