The opening of applying for the "Late Dr. Ali Moselhi Educational Scholarship" for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year

The Council of Private Universities announces the availability of several scholarships funded by the Nasser Social Bank Authority, under the "Late Dr. Ali Moselhi Educational Scholarship" for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. These scholarships are available to students from public schools, experimental schools or their equivalents (STEM schools), and Nile schools (starting from the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year), provided they meet social eligibility requirements.

The scholarship covers all tuition fees. The private university the student attends will provide suitable student accommodation (including meals) comparable to university dormitories, free of charge.

The scholarship allows students to study various specializations that align with the most in-demand fields in the labor market, including: Medicine, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Health Sciences Technology, Computer Science and Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Agriculture, Tourism, Arts and Design, and Languages. These specializations are offered at King Salman International University, South Valley Private University, Assiut Private University, Sohag Private University, New Valley Private University, and Luxor Private University.

The applying will be accepted until Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 10:00 PM. Scholarship results will be announced immediately after the review of all applicants' data is completed.

☆Specific conditions for scholarship applicants:

• The applicant must be an Egyptian citizen residing in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

• The applicant must have obtained their General Secondary Education Certificate from a public school, experimental school, or its equivalent from STEM schools or Nile schools, in the first round of the 2024/2025 academic year.

• The applicant must have achieved a distinction grade in their General Secondary Education Certificate, equivalent to 3% below the minimum admission requirement for the relevant faculty at public universities, according to the announced admission criteria for corresponding public universities in the same academic year.

• The applicant must meet the specific admission requirements of the faculty/program to which they are applying.

• Submit a personal statement from the student outlining their motivation for learning and the skills they expect to gain from studying in the program.

• Maintain a "Very Good" overall grade or equivalent semester GPA throughout their university studies, and do not apply for a transfer from their chosen university in the years following acceptance of the scholarship.

• The student must sign a declaration accepting the terms, responsibilities, and obligations incumbent upon them during their studies and after graduation, and agreeing to return the scholarship amount in the event of a breach of any of the scholarship conditions. This declaration must be submitted in duplicate (one original for the student and one original for the student).

☆ Social Eligibility Requirements for Scholarship Applicants: (Priority given to the following categories):

• Students from the most disadvantaged governorates.

• Students from families receiving the Takaful and Karama social welfare pension.

• Students from social care institutions.

• Students from low-income families whose income does not allow them to cover tuition fees. Supporting documents for the application must be submitted (bank statement for the last year, statement of parents' income (salary or pension), family registration document, lease agreement, and copies of utility bills for the last six months).

Students enrolled in private universities who have paid tuition fees for the first semester are eligible to continue their studies in the second semester at the same faculty, at one of the universities included in the scholarship program, or to apply to a new faculty if they meet the eligibility criteria (social eligibility). Furthermore, they will receive a full refund of all fees paid, without any deductions, if they are awarded the scholarship.
