In a warmth and harmony vibes, and with the gentle spirit of the holy month that brings hearts together in affection and connection, the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University organized its annual Ramadan Iftar ceremony for 2026 on the faculty campus. The evening reflected the spirit of one family that unites the university’s leadership, professors, and members in a distinctive Ramadan gathering.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Mohamed Awad Tag El Din, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Health and Prevention Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Ain Shams National University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amani Osama, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The event was also attended by Prof. Ahmed Zaki Badr, former Minister of Local Development and former President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Abdel Wahab Ezzat, former President of Ain Shams University and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Private Universities; Prof. Ali El Abd, former President of Ain Shams University; and Prof. Ashraf Omar, Vice President of Nahda University and former Dean of the Faculty.

The guests were received by Prof. Ali El Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of University Hospitals; Prof. Hala Sweid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Rania Salah El Din, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Tarek Mohamed Youssef, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; and Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, along with members of the Faculty Council, faculty staff, teaching assistants, directors of the university hospitals, and the administrative staff of the faculty.
