Over 6,000 students were received by the electronic coordination labs at Ain Shams University during the first phase of university admissions

The Education and Student Affairs Sector has announced the conclusion of the first phase of receiving high school graduates at Ain Shams University's electronic coordination computer labs. Over 6,000 male and female students have visited the labs over the past few days. Fourteen fully equipped labs, operating daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., were designated for this purpose, offering a total of 310 computers. These labs were located at the Faculties of Computer and Information Sciences and Arts on the Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis, and the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Basha, Abbassia. In addition, dedicated labs for students with special needs were provided at the Faculties of Arts and Computers and Information.

This initiative came under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector and the General Administration for Student Affairs.

Students and their families praised the coordination labs at the university, highlighting enough waiting areas that ensured their comfort, as well as the professionalism and efficiency of the administrative staff supervising the process. Students’ preferences were successfully submitted with ease.

The labs designated for students with disabilities saw significant turnout, as the university ensured all necessary services and comfort facilities were available to them until the coordination process was completed.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen had earlier directed the Education and Student Affairs Sector to ensure full preparedness and continuous follow-up to guarantee the success of the coordination process and provide all required logistical services and facilities for students throughout all phases.

Students and their families are also invited to visit Ain Shams University’s pavilion at the Higher Education Fair (EDUGATE), scheduled to take place from August 3 to 5 at the Kempinski Hotel in New Cairo. Alternatively, they may visit the Student Affairs Department at the university to learn more about the available academic programs. The goal is to help them choose the specializations that align with their interests and aspirations while meeting labor market needs and future job trends. A detailed explanation will be provided regarding the admission procedures and program requirements.

It is worth noting that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research had earlier announced the minimum admission scores for the first phase of coordination as follows:
