Ain Shams University is preparing to begin the second semester exams under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and according to the schedules of each faculty. This comes as part of the university's keenness to ensure that the educational process proceeds in accordance with the rules and timetable for the academic year 2024-2025.
Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen explained that all logistical arrangements for organizing the final exams for the second semester have been completed, starting with reviewing and preparing the examination halls and control rooms and setting the exam schedules. He directed the necessity of adhering to the specifications of the exam paper, stressing the need for the clarity of the questions and their suitability for the time allocated for the exam, and taking into account the fair distribution of grades, in order to ensure the highest degree of objectivity in evaluating students and measuring their abilities to understand and achieve, as well as directing to take into account students with special abilities and facilitating all necessary means.
The importance of faculty staff being present during the exam period to answer students' inquiries and provide them with the necessary support was also emphasized.
The university president also assigned Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, to manage the faculty' needs and take all necessary measures to ensure the quality of the exam process.
The Education and Student Affairs Sector has taken a series of measures in preparation for the start of the second semester exams, including emphasizing the precautionary measures and necessary precautions to protect the health of all parties involved in the education system. It also emphasizes that students are not allowed to enter exam halls with mobile phones, and clearly announces the penalty for using them in all places. Furthermore, it has allocated well-equipped medical teams to deal with any emergencies that may arise during exams, and has provided ambulances near exam halls to ensure rapid intervention when needed.
This is in addition to completing the necessary maintenance work on the examination building and tent, and requiring university faculties to prepare a daily report during the examination period, including the number of students in attendance, absences, cheating, and illnesses.
It is worth noting that the final exams for the second semester at Ain Shams University are conducted according to the schedule for the 2024-2025 academic year.
