Clarification Statement from Ain Shams University Regarding Graduation from the Faculty of Business in Three Years
Ain Shams University has been following the discussions circulating in some media outlets and social media platforms regarding “graduation from the Faculty of Business in three years,” and the accompanying inaccurate interpretations that have caused confusion among students and parents.
The university categorically affirms that the standard study period at the Faculty of Business remains four full academic years, and no decision has been issued to reduce or modify it. The discussions surrounding this matter are merely a proposal to amend the academic regulations based on the credit hour system. This is an internationally recognized academic system that allows—under specific regulations and conditions, and only for outstanding students—the possibility of completing graduation requirements in a shorter period without compromising the academic content or quality of the degree.
The university clarifies that this proposal has not yet been approved or implemented and is currently under review by the relevant authorities, primarily the Supreme Council of Universities.
It will not come into effect until all legal procedures are completed and it is officially approved. At that point, it will be announced only through the university's official channels.
