In preparation for the start of the university and institute admissions process for Egyptian high school graduates for the 2026/2027 academic year, Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Culture, directed that all necessary information be made available to help high school students use the online admissions portal correctly. This includes familiarizing them with all procedures and guidelines to assist them throughout the various stages of the admissions process and to help them accurately select their preferences for admission to public universities and institutes.

Dr. Adel Abdel Ghaffar, Media Advisor and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated that the General Administration of the Media Office and the Ministry's Official Spokesperson have prepared a comprehensive media campaign to inform and educate high school students on how to use the online admissions portal for public universities and institutes and how to navigate the different stages of the admissions process correctly.

The student guide for dealing with common errors in the 2026 online university and institute admissions process includes a list of the most common mistakes students may make while registering their preferences. It also explains the correct procedures to follow to avoid these errors, thus facilitating a smooth and accurate registration process.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research urges all media outlets to disseminate these guides, awareness materials, and explanatory resources to help students understand the correct procedures during the online admissions period for public universities and institutes.

Students can benefit from the guides, explanatory graphics, and awareness videos prepared by the General Administration of the Media Office and the Ministry's official spokesperson, as well as the guides prepared by the Supreme Council of Universities. These resources are available on the Ministry's website and official social media pages to assist them in registering on the online admissions portal.
