Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, issued a decree appointing Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Ibrahim Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, as Advisor to the University President for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in addition to his current duties, effective May 3, 2026.

Prof. Mohamed Abdel Aziz is one of the most prominent professors of automotive engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University. He has served as Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs since October 2025 and previously held the position of Head of the Automotive Engineering Department.

He also participated in supporting and building an innovative environment both within and outside the faculty, and contributed to preparing and qualifying students to participate in numerous international competitions, reflecting his extensive experience in innovation management and promoting a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship.
