Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, attended the launch of the "Cultural Salons in Egyptian Universities" initiative at the Public Prosecution headquarters in Cairo. The event was also attended by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Counselor Mohamed Shawky, the Attorney General.
The university's participation in this event is part of a strategic cooperation protocol aimed at strengthening the minds of young people and promoting legal and national awareness within the university campus.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Prof. Dr. Walaa Abdel-Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Prof. Farid Moharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business; and a number of faculty members. The meeting also saw a large turnout of students from the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University.
During his speech, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen emphasized that the battle for awareness currently being waged by the state is a natural extension of the national liberation struggles, stressing that building minds is the "first line of defense" for the stability of the Egyptian state.
He explained that Ain Shams University prioritizes raising awareness through education, training, and open channels of constructive dialogue with students to counter attempts to distort facts or spread misinformation.
The President of Ain Shams University pointed out that cultural salons represent a modern tool for building well-rounded student personalities who are proud of their national identity and possess the ability to think critically.

He also praised the cooperation with the Public Prosecution, emphasizing that it will provide university students, particularly law students, with exceptional opportunities for practical training and exposure to established judicial expertise, thus contributing to bridging the gap between academic study and practical application.
A delegation of students and faculty members from Ain Shams University participated in the first session of the cultural salon, held under the title "A Generation That Knows the Story of Crossing and Liberation," coinciding with the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai.

These sessions aim to instill values of belonging and draw inspiration from the lessons of sacrifice in the history of the Armed Forces, with a focus on the role of youth as national leaders capable of shouldering the responsibility for the future.
At the conclusion of the event, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, accompanied by the attendees, toured the photo exhibition held on the sidelines of the salon, which documents prominent milestones in modern Egyptian history.
The university president affirmed that the coming period will witness the activation of the cooperation protocol within the faculties of Ain Shams University, ensuring the expansion of the circle of beneficiaries of the joint awareness and training programs with the Public Prosecution.
