Students for Egypt organizes Quran recitation and religious chanting competitions at Ain Shams University to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan

The Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University organized two competitions—one for memorizing the Holy Quran and the other for religious chanting—to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The competitions were held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

These competitions reflect Ain Shams University and the Students for Egypt family's commitment to developing the spiritual and cultural aspects of students, discovering outstanding talents among them in Quran memorization, and showcasing creative voices in religious chanting, thus reflecting the spirituality of the holy month and reinforcing religious and national values.

These competitions are organized as part of the activities and events held by the University's Education and Student Affairs sector, represented by the Students for Egypt family, under the leadership of Dr. Samar Ragab, head of the Students for Egypt family, and in cooperation with the General Administration for Youth Welfare – Student Families and Unions Department.

The Holy Quran memorization competition, in its three levels, resulted in the following winners:

First: Level of memorizing the entire Holy Quran (30 parts):

• First Place: Student/ Mustafa Abdel Rahman Haggag – the Faculty of Medicine

• Second Place: Student/ Heba Farag Saad – the Faculty of Agriculture

• Third Place: Student/ Mahmoud Abdel Aal Mogahed – the Faculty of Specific Education

Second: Two-thirds of the Holy Quran (20 parts):

• First Place: Student/ Youssef Amin Imam – the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences

• Second Place: Student/ Donia Suleiman Samir – the Faculty of Law

• Third Place: Student/ Doaa Rabie Sayed – the Faculty of Arts

Third: One-third of the Holy Quran (10 parts):

• First Place: Student/ Abdelrahman Yahya Abdelhamid – the Faculty of Business

• Second Place: Student/ Doaa Mohamed Mahmoud – the Faculty of Agriculture

• Third Place: Student/ Roqaya Ali Mohamed – the Faculty of Pharmacy

The religious chanting competition resulted in the following winners:

• First Place: Student/ Ammar Adel Mohamed El-Azab – the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

• Second Place: Student/ Mohamed Emad Tawfik Shaalan – the Faculty of Law

• Third Place: Student/ Mai Mohamed Mahmoud Amin – the Faculty of Science

The judging panel, comprised of faculty staff and leaders of the Students for Egypt family, praised the outstanding level demonstrated by the university students, emphasizing that the Students for Egypt family at Ain Shams University is always keen to support student talents and develop religious and cultural awareness within the university campus.
