In a notable academic achievement, a student team from the Faculty of Commerce, Ain Shams University, has successfully qualified for the final stages of the competition organized by CFA Society Egypt, affiliated with the global CFA Institute, after ranking among the top eight teams nationwide across Egyptian universities.
This achievement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Farid Moharam El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty, reflecting the continued support of the university leadership for student excellence and their encouragement to participate in prestigious national and international academic competitions.
The qualified team comprises five fourth-year students:

The team also excelled in presenting these analyses in a professional report, through which it passed the written evaluation stage with distinction, securing its place in the final competition.
The Ain Shams University team is set to compete for top positions on February 7, 2026, where it will present its study findings and engage in discussions before a specialized judging panel, in a highly competitive contest alongside teams from seven other prestigious Egyptian universities.
This qualification represents the culmination of joint efforts between outstanding students and a supportive faculty, and reflects the effectiveness of the Faculty’s academic programs in integrating advanced theoretical frameworks with practical application in the field of financial analysis—effectively preparing students for the demands of a competitive labor market.
