Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Dian Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and as part of the active role played by the Education and Student Affairs Sector in supporting student activities, the sector launches today, Friday, November 28, the first entertainment festival for university students residing in university dorms for the 2025/2026 academic year, in the city of Ismailia, with the participation of around 1,000 male and female students from various faculties of the university.

The festival is being organized in implementation of the directives of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, to expand the participation base in trips and recreational events for dormitory students, including male and female students and external branches, as part of the university’s commitment to providing full support to its students and encouraging them to engage in social, cultural, athletic, and artistic activities.

The event is coordinated and administratively supervised by Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector. Golden Jewel Ismailia Hotel hosts more than a thousand students throughout the day’s activities, allowing them to enjoy the city’s beautiful natural scenery and the distinctive views of the Suez Canal, in an atmosphere aimed at entertainment, reducing academic stress, and strengthening bonds of friendship and positive interaction among students.

The Education and Student Affairs Sector is keen on organizing such activities regularly, stemming from the university’s commitment to providing a comprehensive educational environment that combines academics with meaningful extracurricular involvement.
