The Education and Student Affairs Sector at Ain Shams University continues the activities of the welcome festival for new and returning students for the second consecutive day. This year’s celebrations feature a Pharaonic theme in conjunction with the university’s Diamond Jubilee, held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University.
The second day’s events included impressive artistic and musical performances by students, who showcased their creativity and diverse talents, adding a distinctive cultural dimension to the festival. The performances were held under the supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, in cooperation with Mr. Mohamed El-Gammal, Head of the Central Administration of the President’s Sector, and implemented by the “Students for Egypt” family and the Ain Shams University Students’ Union.
Meanwhile, the General Administration of Youth Welfare, through its seven departments — artistic, athletic, cultural, social, scientific, student families and unions, scouting and social solidarity — continues to provide its full range of activities. Various pavilions also remain active in offering services to students, including: the Center for Students with Disabilities, the Innovation and Training Sector, the International Students Office, the Alumni Association, the Women’s Support and Anti-Violence Unit, the General Administration of Medical Affairs, the Drug Addiction Control Fund, and the Main Blood Bank of VACSERA, along with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector pavilion.
In addition, the service partners’ zone featured booths from Tahya Misr Fund, Banque Misr, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, as well as Ain Shams National University.
