Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Mohamed El-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Rana El-Helaly, Director of the University's Student Services Center for People with Disabilities, and in coordination with Dr. Hadeer Ghattas, Assistant Lecturer and Faculty Coordinator at the Center, the Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University organized an awareness seminar on how to deal with students with special needs integrated into the faculty, in cooperation with the University's Student Services Center for People with Disabilities.

At the beginning of the seminar, Prof. Mohamed El-Shafei welcomed the attendees and highlighted the faculty's efforts to support students with disabilities through the Faculty's Academic Support Unit. He also highlighted the facilities provided to these students during exams, such as allocating a special committee for them, in addition to the possibility of extending exam time and diversifying exam questions to allow students the opportunity to answer in a manner consistent with the nature of their disability.
The seminar was attended by Prof. Rana El-Helaly, who addressed the topic of how to integrate students with special needs into their surrounding environment and how to overcome obstacles facing them to achieve the principle of equal opportunity.

Prof. Mustafa Al-Shahed, Deputy Director of the University's Center for Student Services with Disabilities, also lectured. He explained the etiquette required when dealing with students with special needs and how to provide them with assistance.
Dr. Doaa Mahmoud, an instructor in the Department of Special Education at the Faculty of Education, Ain Shams University, also lectured. She explained the various methods and strategies available to faculty members and support staff to facilitate the educational process for students with special needs.
The seminar was attended by many faculty staff and teaching assistants, representatives of student affairs staff, and many students.
This seminar came within the framework of the college's ongoing commitment to supporting its students, overcoming the obstacles they face, and providing them with equal opportunities.
