A Vibrant Start of the First Student Activities Festival of the New Academic Year at Family Park, with 2,500 Students Participating

In a vibrant atmosphere filled with youthful energy and enthusiasm, Ain Shams University launched its first Student Activities Festival of the new academic year, in cooperation with the Clubs and Hotels Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces. The festival brings together a total of 2,500 students from university student clubs, university dormitories, and students with disabilities over five Fridays in October and November, with 500 students participating each week. The activities are held at Family Park and Golden Jewel Hotels, both affiliated with the Clubs and Hotels Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces.

The festival aims to encourage student participation in university activities and provide greater opportunities for creativity, interaction, and team building. Through a comprehensive experience combining entertainment and diverse activities, the festival seeks to develop students’ skills, strengthen their personalities, and foster a sense of belonging, cooperation, and teamwork.

The first day of the festival, held at Family Park, witnessed the participation of approximately 500 members of the Students for Egypt Association at Ain Shams University. The enthusiastic turnout reflected the students’ eagerness to actively engage in university activities and enjoy a day filled with entertainment, social interaction, and friendly competition, in an atmosphere that promoted friendship and cooperation among students.

The festival is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, with administrative coordination and supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Samar Ragab, Faculty Advisor to the Students for Egypt Association.

The festival is organized as part of the commitment of Ain Shams University's Education and Student Affairs Sector to support student activities as an essential pillar in developing well-rounded university students. These activities help strengthen students’ communication, innovation, and teamwork skills while providing an interactive and inclusive environment that enables all students, including students with disabilities, to participate, integrate, and enjoy university life.

The festival’s activities are scheduled to continue throughout October and November, with students participating according to the established schedule. This initiative highlights that university life extends beyond academic achievement to include activities and events that enrich the student experience, create lasting memories, and provide young people with meaningful opportunities to express their energy, talents, and potential.
