Ain Shams University concludes the second phase of university coordination, receiving approximately 2,500 students
Ain Shams University concluded the second phase of university admissions coordination for the 2026/2027 academic year on Sunday. This phase, which ran for five days from August 12th to 16th, saw a smooth and efficient process for receiving high school graduates and providing them with online coordination services.

The university's online coordination labs witnessed a high turnout of students wishing to register their preferences. The total number of students visiting the labs during this phase reached approximately 2,500. Specialized teams were available to assist students in entering their preferences and navigating the online coordination website, as well as explaining the coordination rules and how to prioritize their choices in accordance with the established regulations.
The coordination labs were established under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.
They were overseen by the Education and Student Affairs sector, through Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Ms. Reham El-Ateify, Director General of the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs.

The university ensured the distribution of lab services through 16 electronic labs equipped with more than 340 computers, enabling students to benefit from the service in several faculties, including the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, the Faculty of Arts on the Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Engineering in Abdo Pasha, Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis.
The university has also dedicated fully equipped computer labs to serve students with disabilities in the Faculties of Arts and Computer and Information Sciences, ensuring they have the necessary facilities and can complete the application process in a suitable environment.
As part of its commitment to providing guidance and support, the university has also established a specialized lab to answer inquiries from this year's high school graduates and those from previous years. A team of specialists is available to answer questions related to application and transfer procedures, and to provide students with the necessary guidance during the application process and in selecting their preferences.
Ain Shams University emphasized that the electronic application lab system is one of the university's mechanisms for providing direct services to students during the university admissions process, noting its continued efforts to provide technical and guidance support and facilitate procedures for students.
The minimum scores for admission to the second phase are as follows:
● Modern System:
• Science Division: 220.00 or higher (68.75%).
Number of students: 234,866.
• Arts Division: 205.00 or higher (64.06%).
Number of students: 31,610.
Total: 266,476.
● Old System:
• Science Division: 280.00 or higher (68.29%).
Number of students: 379.
• Arts Division: 240.00 or higher (58.53%).
Number of students: 76.
Total: 455.
