The Faculty of Agriculture continues its participation in the Alamein International Agricultural Exhibition 2026, marking its status as the first agricultural faculty to participate in the event
Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Walaa Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Faculty of Agriculture at Ain Shams University continues its participation in the ALAMEIN AGRIC EXPO 2026. The Faculty maintains its consistent presence at the exhibition since its inception, being the first Faculty of Agriculture to participate in this international agricultural event. This reflects its pioneering role in supporting agricultural development and fostering integration between academic education and the agricultural sector.
The Faculty's participation is an extension of its approach to strengthening its presence at specialized agricultural forums, solidifying its role in linking scientific research to labor market needs, and supporting cooperation between universities and production sectors. This contributes to achieving sustainable development goals and promoting innovation in the agricultural field.
The participation also reflects the faculty’s interest in supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship system, by giving its students the opportunity to participate in scientific and professional events, where faculty students participate as representatives of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit, in a practical embodiment of the university’s role in preparing qualified personnel capable of transforming scientific knowledge into innovative solutions and applications that contribute to the development of the agricultural sector and support the national economy.
The ALAMEIN AGRIC EXPO 2026 is one of the most prominent events specializing in the agricultural sector. It will be held from August 24 to 26, 2026 at the Conference and Exhibition Center in New Alamein City, with wide participation from companies, institutions and experts. It will showcase the latest technologies in the fields of smart agriculture, modern irrigation systems, renewable energy, agricultural manufacturing, and agricultural equipment and machinery, thus enhancing investment and cooperation opportunities in the agricultural sector.
The exhibition serves several of Egypt's largest agricultural development areas, including the New Delta, Egypt's Future, West Delta, Nubaria, Wadi El Natroun, El Hammam, El Dabaa, El Alamein, and the Northwest Coast, making it a vital platform for supporting sustainable agricultural development and fostering partnerships between academic institutions and the production and investment sectors.
