The President of Ain Shams University visits the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center to congratulate on the glorious Resurrection Day

Within the framework of Ain Shams University’s keenness on community communication, supporting religious and cultural values, and spreading the spirit of brotherhood among the nation’s people, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, visited the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center yesterday, Wednesday. He congratulated His Eminence Bishop Jeremiah, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, on the occasion of the glorious Resurrection Day.

During the visit, the University President expressed his thanks and appreciation to Bishop Jeremiah, and praised the close cooperation relations that brought together Ain Shams University and the cathedral over a long history.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the university and religious and cultural institutions in achieving society’s development goals and moving society forward. His Excellency stressed that Egyptians are one fabric, partners in one homeland, and that Egypt will always remain a country of security and security thanks to the unity of the Egyptian people in facing all challenges.

For his part, Bishop Jeremiah appreciated the visit of the University President, offering thanks to His Eminence for this good spirit that reflects the efforts of Ain Shams University in promoting the values of tolerance, moderation, and peaceful coexistence among the spectrum of society, wishing continued stability and prosperity for our dear homeland, which will always remain at the forefront of nations, and for peace and goodness prevail to our beloved Egypt.

His Eminence Bishop Jeremiah also expressed his readiness to enhance cooperation with the university in all fields that serve the interest of Egyptian society.

The two parties discussed many aspects of cooperation of common interest between the two institutions in serving the community.
