A round table discussion entitled “Innovate 2 Elevate: Advanced Technologies, Entrepreneurship, and Management partnership” at ASU-iHub

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center at Ain Shams University is organizing a round table discussion “Innovate 2 Elevate: Advanced Technologies, Entrepreneurship and Management Partnership” and promoting innovation in higher education institutions by considering the requirements of master’s programs for entrepreneurship as an essential and integral part of the curriculum to complement various technical knowledge and skills.

This was within the activities of the two existing projects, which are the research project funded by the British Council between Ain Shams University and Lincoln University in England, as the main researcher of the project is from Egypt, who is Professor Dr. Mustafa Refaat, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, and from the English side is Professor Dr. Waqar Ahmed, Vice President of the Faculty of Mathematics. Physics and Deputy Director of Research for the Faculty of Science at the University of Lincoln.

Also, within the activities of the Green Economy Project funded by the German Agency for Cultural Exchange (DAAD) and in partnership with the Entrepreneurship Center at the Technical University of Berlin in Germany and the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service Affairs. And environmental development, and Prof. Omar Al-Husseini, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ain Shams University.

This came in the presence of a group of experts and work teams from the two projects. Ayman Zakaria Shams El-Din, a teacher in the Department of Structural Engineering and Dr. Fatima Muhammad Fathi, a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and from Lincoln University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Saraji, Dean of the British University in Egypt and former Head of the Faculty of Engineering at Lincoln University, Dr. Amira Alnoqali, Assistant Professor and Director of Internationalization at Lincoln University, Prof. Mona Abdel-Al, Director of E-Learning, Prof. Adel Al-Sabbagh, General Director of the Innovation Center, and Dr. Weam Mahmoud, Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Islam Adly, Director of Activities at the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. During the workshop, attendees will share ideas, visions, and beneficial interests to launch entrepreneurial programs that work to enrich the entrepreneurial community at Ain Shams University.
