The October War between Facts and Lies...a lecture at the Faculty of Archeology

Under the patronage of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Hossam Tantawi, Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, and in light of the Egyptian state’s celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the glorious October victory, the Faculty hosted on Sunday, October 8, 2023, Mr. Major General Staff Officer. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Khaleq Qashqoush, advisor to the Nasser Higher Military Academy, and one of the eyewitnesses and heroes of the Battle of Pride and Dignity in 1973 AD. His Excellency gave a lecture to faculty and university students entitled: (The October War between Facts and Lies), which was followed by opening the floor for discussions, where His Excellency kindly responded to the student’s questions.

It is noteworthy that the meeting was held in cooperation between the College’s Student Welfare Department and the University’s Military Education Department, in the presence of Mr. Colonel Staff Officer Ahmed Fahmy, Director of the Department, and the session was moderated by Dr. Ghada Fayed, leader of the faculty students union.
