As part of the Egyptian state’s efforts to address the challenges of climate change, promote sustainable development, and support the transition toward a green economy, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development announces the opening of applications for participation in the fourth edition of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects.
The initiative reaffirms the importance of localizing innovative solutions to address the impacts of climate change and supports projects that contribute to environmental sustainability through six main categories: large-scale projects, medium-sized projects, small local projects, startups, the Women, Climate Change and Sustainability category, and non-profit community initiatives and participations.
The initiative offers a range of high-quality opportunities for participants, including collaboration with various funding bodies and international organizations, as well as showcasing winning projects at the initiative’s national conference, which features 18 projects, with 3 projects selected from each category.
Winners of the top three positions will receive financial awards, in addition to distinguished opportunities to participate in several local, regional, and international conferences and events, including the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31), scheduled to be held in Turkey next November.
These opportunities reflect the initiative’s commitment to supporting innovative solutions to combat climate change and transforming green ideas into actionable projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
Submit your project from any governorate, whether you are an individual, company, or institution, and be part of the solution to climate change while building a more sustainable future.
