Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the university has achieved a new milestone, adding to its long-standing record of excellence. The QS World University Rankings has announced the results of its 2026 edition for academic subjects, with Ain Shams University appearing for the second consecutive year across all five major subject areas: Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, Engineering and Technology, Life Sciences and Medicine, and Natural Sciences.

In addition, the university has made its debut in four new sub-disciplines, Linguistics, Modern Languages, Education, and Anatomy & Physiology, while also advancing in eight other subject areas.
This achievement reflects the success of the university’s strategic vision and sustained efforts to enhance its academic and research performance. The ranking is based on a set of balanced indicators, including academic reputation, research output, international outlook, and employability.
