In an atmosphere filled with emotion and appreciation, the Education and Student Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Girls, at Ain Shams University, organized its annual ceremony to honor the ideal mother on Sunday morning, March 29, 2026. The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty of Girls; and Prof. Asmaa Zaazaa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony was also attended by Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and coordinated by Dr. Fayrouz Hassan, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Ms. Ghada Moussa, Director of the Student Welfare Department. Heads of departments, faculty staff, administrators, and employees of the Faculty were also present.
The renowned media personality, Doaa Farouk, attended the ceremony as a guest of honor.
The celebration began with the national anthem, followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran. In her opening remarks, Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the pivotal role of mothers in building society and shaping future generations, praising the resilience and sacrifices of the mothers within the faculty, both academic and administrative staff.

Prof. Asmaa Zaazaa addressed a message of pride and appreciation to all Egyptian mothers, and specifically to the female members of the Faculty of Girls at Ain Shams University, on the occasion of Mother's Day.
Prof. Asmaa Zaazaa affirmed that mothers are the ultimate symbol of giving and sacrifice, and the cornerstone of building society and raising generations capable of facing life's challenges. She extended her heartfelt congratulations to all female faculty staff, employees and workers, in recognition of their efforts in providing an ideal work and learning environment for everyone, and to the mothers of the students for their role in supporting their daughters' journey towards excellence and success.

The speech concluded with a prayer for all mothers, wishing them health and happiness, and expressing deep gratitude for their boundless sacrifices, wishing them every day to be a celebration.
Media personality Doaa Farouk expressed her joy at being present at Ain Shams University, conveying a message of thanks to every Egyptian mother striving for the betterment of her family and country.
The ceremony included touching moments during the honoring of exemplary mothers for the year, including a select group of faculty staff, distinguished female employees, and faculty workers, in recognition of their continuous efforts and contributions.
The celebration concluded with a musical performance by the Early Childhood Education Department choir, which delighted the audience with a selection of traditional and modern songs dedicated to mothers, to the enthusiastic participation of the students and attendees.
