The Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University organized its annual alumni gathering, which lasted for two days.

The gathering was inaugurated by Prof. Mohamed Ragab El-Satouhy, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Amal Morsy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in the presence of Prof. Iman Abdel-Azim, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Reem El-Kabarity, Director of the University's Alumni Association, a number of department heads and faculty members, and several alumni.
The gathering hosted a distinguished group of alumni, including Prof. Sameh Saad Ali, Director of the Tumor Biology Program at the Children's Cancer Hospital Egypt 75375, who delivered a lecture entitled "Aging and the Hope for Immortality." Dr. Mamdouh Harb from EIPICO also presented a lecture on the fundamentals of negotiation.

Eng. Assem Essam, an information security engineer at the Central Bank of Egypt, delivered an engaging lecture titled "From Science to Cybersecurity: Building a Career in Information Security."
Ms. Narmin Dahy, Project Quality Manager at IBM, spoke on "Self-Development: The Foundation of Success." Mr. Guna presented an online lecture on the fundamentals of geophysics – Uncovering the Earth's Secrets. Eng. Mohamed Ali, an applications programmer and systems analyst at the Ministry of Finance, discussed "Data Governance."
During the second day, an introductory session was held on the university's grants office, exploring funding opportunities, international mobility programs, and scientific research support services.

During the event, presentations were given by Prof. Hoda Sousa, Director of the Projects Department at the university; Dr. Noha El-Rafei, Deputy Director of the Grants and Projects Department; and Ms. Nevin Iskandar, Administrative Coordinator in the Grants and Projects Department.
Additionally, Prof. Hani Ammar, Head of the Medical Physics Unit at Children's Cancer Hospital 57357, delivered a lecture on "The Latest Developments in Radiation Oncology."
Dr. Mahmoud Kamel from Mak Consulting and Institutional Development presented a workshop titled "Your CV is Your Identity," along with other important lectures related to the fields of study for students across various disciplines.
It is worth noting that several companies offering training opportunities for students and job opportunities for graduates were present at the forum.
The forum witnessed a large turnout from students across different academic years and graduates.
