In a solemn and celebratory atmosphere filled with feelings of pride and gratitude, and amidst a scene reflecting cultural diversity and human harmony, the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University organized a graduation ceremony for International Students, on an occasion that affirmed the university’s status as an international scientific institution that embraces students from various countries around the world and creates qualified medical personnel who carry the message of science and humanity, under the supervision of the International Students Office at the Faculty.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Hala Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Rania Salah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, Prof. Dina Lashin, Director of the International Students Department at the University, Prof. Nira Mustafa, Director of the International Students Office at the Faculty of Medicine, in addition to a group of faculty staff, parents, embassy representatives and cultural attachés.
In his address, Prof. Ali El-Anwar praised the academic and scientific level of Ain Shams University’s medical school graduates, explaining that the faculty has welcomed students from over 60 countries and successfully prepared them academically and practically to become ambassadors for the faculty and their university worldwide.

Prof. Tarek Youssef, Executive Director of University Hospitals, emphasized the importance of diligence and dedication in a doctor’s academic and professional career, stressing that the effort and service a doctor provides is a noble humanitarian mission.
Prof. Hala Sweid congratulated the graduates and their families, praising the role of families in supporting their children throughout their studies and commending the Faculty of Medicine's efforts in graduating distinguished medical professionals capable of succeeding in diverse environments.

For her part, Prof. Rania Salah expressed her delight at the graduation of a new class of Ain Shams University medical students, noting the class's cultural diversity, which includes students from multiple countries, and commending their academic commitment and ability to adapt to the challenges of living abroad.
In her address, Prof. Nira Mustafa congratulated the graduates and thanked the faculty and university administration for the academic, administrative, and moral support they provide to international students from the moment they enroll. She emphasized the faculty’s continued commitment to its graduates and its open doors to them in postgraduate programs and fellowships.
Representatives of the graduates also delivered speeches expressing their gratitude to the Faculty of Medicine and its faculty staff for the knowledge, experience, and support they received throughout their years of study.
The ceremony included the administration of the physicians’ oath, recited by Prof. Nira Mustafa and repeated by the graduates, marking the beginning of their professional journey and their commitment to the ethics of the profession. The event also featured artistic performances and cultural presentations reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the students, and concluded with a speech by one of the graduates expressing the students’ gratitude to Egypt, which they considered their second home during their years of study.
It is worth mentioning that the ceremony witnessed the graduation of 341 students of multiple nationalities, including Sudan, Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, India, Somalia and Chad, in the presence of cultural attachés, embassy representatives, faculty staff and students’ families.
