The Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University has announced the opening of applying for its Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Professional Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs in Healthcare Management. This initiative is offered in strategic partnership with the General Authority for Healthcare, aiming to develop a cadre of leaders capable of advancing the healthcare system in line with Egypt's Vision 2030.

Prof. Farid Moharram, Dean of the Faculty of Business, added that the collaboration with the General Authority for Healthcare represents a significant added value to the program, bridging the gap between academic study and practical application. It provides students with direct, hands-on experience from within the healthcare system. He noted that the program targets a wide range of professionals, including physicians, healthcare administrators, hospital directors, and those working in the health insurance and medical equipment sectors, as well as individuals from diverse administrative and economic backgrounds who wish to work in the field.

Prof. Farid Muharram stated that this program comes in response to the rapid developments in the healthcare sector, emphasizing that the collaboration with the Healthcare Authority gives students a competitive edge by linking academic curricula with direct field application within the Authority's hospitals and institutions.

Prof. Farid Muharram added that the program targets physicians, administrative managers in the healthcare sector, and employees of medical insurance and equipment companies, to qualify them to manage medical facilities effectively and adhere to international quality standards.

The programs are designed to suit employees and professionals with a flexible attendance system (Fridays and Saturdays). The durations are as follows:

Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA): 2 to 4 years.

Professional Doctor of Business Administration (DBA): 3 to 5 years.

Language: Study is available in both Arabic and English, according to the student's preference.

The faculty clarified that admissions are open for the September and February semesters, and applications can be submitted as follows:

For Egyptian students: Apply in person at the faculty or through the university's online platform (UMS) with an application fee of 1500 EGP.

For international students: Apply exclusively through the "Study in Egypt" platform of the Ministry of Higher Education.

This program is a significant step towards enhancing strategic leadership skills, crisis management, and data analysis in healthcare environments, opening up broad horizons for graduates to assume prestigious leadership positions both locally and internationally.
