1,000 Students from University Dormitories Participate in the Third Group of Ain Shams University’s Student Activities Festival at Family Park

Ain Shams University’s Student Activities Festival continues for the third consecutive week of the new academic year, as Family Park welcomed the third group of participants, comprising 1,000 male and female students from the University’s dormitories. The recreational and interactive day aimed to provide students with greater opportunities to communicate, participate in various activities, and strengthen social bonds in an atmosphere filled with joy and enthusiasm.

The festival is organized in cooperation between the University’s Education and Student Affairs Sector and the Clubs and Hotels Department of the Egyptian Armed Forces. It reflects the Sector’s commitment to diversifying the activities offered to students and providing experiences that combine entertainment with social interaction, thereby enhancing their integration into university life.

The festival is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, with coordination and administrative supervision by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The festival aims to engage approximately 2,500 students from university student families, university dormitories, and students with disabilities through five groups organized on Fridays throughout October and November. This approach ensures diverse participation and provides the largest possible number of students with opportunities to benefit from the program.

The festival seeks to promote the values of cooperation, teamwork, and belonging, develop students’ personal and social skills, and create opportunities for interaction and friendship. It also encourages positive competition and offers students the chance to enjoy a variety of recreational and interactive activities.

The continued organization of these activities reflects the Education and Student Affairs Sector’s commitment to strengthening the role of student activities in shaping well-rounded university students. Such activities represent an important means of developing students’ abilities, refining their talents, and promoting the principles of participation and inclusion, while ensuring that students with disabilities have equal access to various activities and programs alongside their peers.
