As part of its commitment to promoting academic excellence and encouraging students to pursue further achievements, Ain Shams National University organized a ceremony to honor its top-performing first-year students in recognition of their outstanding academic performance during their first academic year and to celebrate their progression to the second year of study. The ceremony recognized students across the University's four academic program areas: Medical Programs, Engineering Programs, Computer and Information Sciences Programs, and Business Programs.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University and Acting President of Ain Shams National University; Prof. Mohamed Salheen, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Shaimaa Abou El-Sadat, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs. Also in attendance were the academic program directors: Dr. Rola Mohamed Farid, Director of the Medicine Program; Dr. Nabil Hamed, Director of Engineering Programs; Dr. Eman Amin, Director of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Programs; and Dr. Hisham Mohamed Abdel Aziz, Director of Business Programs, alongside members of the University's faculty.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abideen emphasized that the ceremony reflects Ain Shams National University's commitment to recognizing academic excellence and celebrating outstanding students. He noted that such initiatives foster a spirit of positive competition, motivate students to continue working hard and achieve further academic success, strengthen their sense of belonging to the University, and contribute to creating a supportive academic environment that encourages creativity and excellence. He reaffirmed the University's continued support for its high-achieving students and expressed pride in their accomplishments, describing them as a cornerstone of the University's journey toward excellence and leadership.

Prof. Mohamed Salheen explained that the celebration reflects the University's vision of providing a comprehensive educational experience that goes beyond academic excellence to encompass students' personal development, skills enhancement, and access to opportunities that prepare graduates to compete effectively in the labor market and meet future demands.
