The Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Attends the Graduation Ceremony of a New Class from the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages at the Faculty of Arts

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, a graduation ceremony was held for a new class of graduates from the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages at the Faculty of Arts, Ain Shams University, in the presence of Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs.

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts; Prof. Reem El-Kabarity, Director of the Ain Shams University Alumni Association; and Prof. Naglaa Ezzat, Head of the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages, along with faculty members and the graduates’ families and relatives.

In his address during the ceremony, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali congratulated the Department’s graduates on this special occasion, expressing his pleasure at sharing this memorable moment in their lives. He emphasized that graduation marks the culmination of years of hard work and perseverance, as well as the beginning of a new journey that requires continuous learning and dedication, and the ability to transform the knowledge they have acquired into tangible achievements in their professional lives.

         
   
         

He also congratulated the graduates’ families, who had been essential partners throughout their children’s journey, wishing the graduates a future filled with success and excellence and encouraging them to serve as distinguished ambassadors of Ain Shams University across various professional fields.

For her part, Prof. Hanan Kamel expressed her pleasure at sharing the joy of graduation with her students, emphasizing that this moment does not mark the end of their years of study, but rather the beginning of a new path of work, contribution, and fulfillment of their ambitions. She noted that the knowledge and experience students gained at the faculty constitute a valuable foundation as they embark on their future careers. She also extended her sincere congratulations to the graduates and their families on an occasion that crowns years of effort and perseverance.

Prof. Reem El-Kabarity, Director of the Ain Shams University Alumni Association, also congratulated the Department’s graduates, stressing that graduation marks the beginning of a new stage of contribution and the pursuit of ambitions. She affirmed that the Association would continue to support its graduates and strengthen their ties with their university, wishing them a bright future filled with success and excellence.

Prof. Naglaa Ezzat, Head of the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages, emphasized that graduation day represents an exceptional moment that crowns a journey of hard work and perseverance. She expressed her pride in the Department’s graduates and their achievements, wishing them success in applying the knowledge, values, and experience they acquired to their professional lives. She encouraged them to continue their journey with confidence and ambition and to be distinguished representatives of their Department, Faculty, and University.

The ceremony program featured an introductory video about the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages, highlighting its identity, academic journey, fields of study and knowledge, as well as the activities available to students. The video offered attendees an insight into the educational experience of the graduates throughout their years of study and the Department’s role in preparing them for their future careers.

In recognition of the role of university leaders in supporting students and the educational process, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Reem El-Kabarity, Director of the Ain Shams University Alumni Association; and Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, were honored during the ceremony.

Several professors and faculty staff from the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages were also honored in recognition of their academic contributions, their support for students, and the knowledge and expertise they have provided in preparing generations of the Department’s graduates.

As the graduates were the highlight of the occasion, they were honored and presented with certificates of recognition amid an atmosphere filled with pride and joy, in appreciation of their efforts throughout their years of study and their achievements, which mark the beginning of a new chapter in their academic and professional lives.

The ceremony was held under the supervision of Prof. Naglaa Ezzat, Head of the Department of Ancient European Civilization and Languages, in cooperation with the Ain Shams University Alumni Association and with the participation of the Faculty’s Youth Welfare Department in organizing and coordinating the event.

The celebration also featured artistic performances by the Rouh El-Sharq Ensemble, which presented a selection of musical and vocal performances that added further joy and energy to the occasion, amid enthusiastic engagement from attendees and the happiness of the graduates and their families, bringing together knowledge, art, and celebration.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, commemorative photographs were taken of the graduates, faculty members, and University and Faculty leaders, documenting this special occasion that brought them together to celebrate years of learning and hard work and preserving these moments as cherished memories of their university journey.
