The Electronic Coordination Labs at Ain Shams University welcomed more than 1,000 General Secondary School students on the opening day of the first phase of the 2026/2027 university admissions coordination process. The initiative reflects the University's commitment to providing high-quality services for students and their families while facilitating the online registration of academic preferences in a well-organized environment that ensures smooth and efficient experience.

The initiative is held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The coordination labs witnessed a strong turnout from students, with the University providing all the necessary technical and human resources to ensure the smooth completion of the preference registration process. Trained support teams were available throughout the coordination period to offer technical assistance, guidance, and respond to inquiries from students and their parents.

The Electronic Coordination Labs operate under the supervision of the Education and Student Affairs Sector through Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, with follow-up by the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs headed by Ms. Reham El-Otifi, Director General of the Administration, to ensure the efficient operation of the labs and the delivery of high-quality services.

The University has established coordination labs across several campuses, including the Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences, the Faculty of Arts at the Abbassia campus, the Faculty of Engineering at Abdo Basha, the Faculty of Agriculture in Shubra El-Kheima, and the Faculty of Girls in Heliopolis. In addition, fully equipped labs are available to serve students with disabilities at the Faculty of Arts (Vision Center) and the Faculty of Computers and Information Sciences (Geneidy Building), ensuring accessible services for all students.

The labs provide free technical support for students wishing to register their academic preferences during official working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. throughout the first phase of electronic coordination, which runs from Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to Sunday, August 9, 2026, following the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's announcement of the minimum admission scores for the first phase.
