The Faculty of Archaeology announces the opening of applying for postgraduate programs for the academic year 2026/2027

Under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Hossam Tantawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology, and Prof. Ahmed El Shawky, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Archaeology for Graduate Studies and Research, the Faculty announced the opening of applying for graduate programs for the academic year 2026/2027. This initiative reflects the university's commitment to supporting scientific research and promoting graduate studies in the fields of archaeology and heritage.

Applying for diploma and doctoral programs, as well as several master's programs, will be accepted from August 2, 2026, until September 17, 2026. Applying for master's programs in the Departments of Archaeology and Excavation, and Museum and Archaeological Site Management will be accepted until August 27, 2026.

The Master's programs include specializations in Ancient Egyptian Archaeology, Greek and Roman Archaeology, Islamic Archaeology, Archaeology and Excavation Sciences, and Museum and Archaeological Site Management. These programs keep pace with scientific advancements and contribute to preparing researchers and specialists capable of meeting the demands of heritage and archaeology preservation.

The Faculty emphasized the necessity of submitting all required documents and adhering to the specific admission requirements for each program, in accordance with the regulations governing postgraduate studies, while also observing the announced application deadlines.
