Students of Ain Shams University achieved outstanding accomplishments and honorable results during the activities of the fourteenth edition of the “Ibdaa 14” Festival for University Youth for the 2025/2026 academic year, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, reflecting the excellence and creativity demonstrated by the university’s students across various cultural, artistic, and literary fields.

In the “Ideal Male and Female Student” competition, student Shahd Ahmed Abu Zeid Ali won first place, affirming the distinction of the university’s students on both academic and humanitarian levels.

In the field of poetry, student Yassin Mohamed Khamis secured first place, in an achievement that reflects the richness of the literary and creative talents fostered by the university.

Student Shahd Ashraf Abu El Fotouh also won first place in the specialized short film category, confirming the university students’ leadership and excellence in various artistic and creative fields.

This achievement comes under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs.

The students’ participation came under the general supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector.

On this occasion, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, expressed their sincere congratulations to the winning students, affirming that the achievements of Ain Shams University students reflect the university’s commitment to discovering and supporting talented and creative individuals, while fostering a university environment that encourages excellence and innovation across various fields.

They also affirmed that Ain Shams University always takes pride in its distinguished students who elevate the university’s name in various national forums and competitions, wishing them continued success and excellence.

It is worth noting that the remaining results of the “Ibdaa 14” Festival competitions are scheduled to be announced in the coming hours, amid expectations that the university’s students will continue achieving further successes and honorable accomplishments, continuing the journey of excellence that the university has achieved over the past three years during the competition.
