Under the title “How to Apply for Funded Educational Research Missions and Projects,” an introductory forum for various grants and missions was held at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, under the patronage of Prof. Ali Anwar, Dean of the Faculty and Chairman of the Hospitals Board of Directors, Prof. Hala Sweid, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Osama Mansour, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, Director of the Alumni Association of Ain Shams University, Prof. Asst. Dr. Dina Ibrahim Salam, Director of the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University.
A large number of professors and graduates of the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, participated in the forum, and during the meeting, Prof. Reem Al-Kabariti, an overview of some of the work carried out by the Alumni Office at Ain Shams University, including seminars and workshops for graduates, and participation in graduation ceremonies to celebrate graduates of the university’s various faculties, emphasizing the effective role of the Alumni Association Office and considering it a bridge of cooperation between the administration of Ain Shams University and its graduates at the level of all faculties.
Prof. Tamer Al-Nadi, Director of the Grants and Projects Department at the University, spoke on how to apply for research grants and funded projects.
Prof. Abdullah Sami, Director of the University’s Scholars Office, presented an introduction to medical scholarships and the various scientific missions available to doctors abroad.
At the end of the symposium, the floor was opened for questions and the lecturers answered all inquiries.
