His Excellency highlighted the qualitative leap the sector is witnessing, whether through the use of lasers in treating gum disease and teeth whitening, or the applications of immediate implants and digital design (CAD/CAM) technologies, and 3D printing in the manufacture of prosthetics, as well as employing artificial intelligence technologies in early diagnosis and the analysis of radiographic images, which enhances the accuracy of treatment and improves the quality of services provided to patients.

The competition saw the participation of several universities, including Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Badr University in Cairo, the British University in Egypt, New Giza University, Nahda University, Galala University, and the Russian University.

The judging panel comprised a select group of professors of dentistry from the participating universities. The competition included presentations of treatment cases treated by intern dentists during their clinical training, followed by a thorough scientific discussion of the cases, treatment plans, and achieved results.
