Scholarships for doctoral studies provided by the Embassy of France in Egypt for Egyptian students

The Scholarships Welfare Office at Ain Shams University announces the support of the French Embassy in Egypt for doctoral students and young Egyptian researchers who wish to complete their proposals in France.

The French Embassy in Egypt offers a scholarships program for short academic stays in France for young Egyptian researchers (doctoral scholarships) working on their research proposals in public and private Egyptian universities. These scholarships are granted for a maximum period of 12 months, and for a maximum of 6 months annually.

Accepted masters may be allowed to complete their scientific research through joint supervision, this mean that the registering as doctoral students in both Egypt and France in order to obtain a double doctorate degree.

Each scholarship covers travel costs, health insurance, and living expenses in France.

The application period ends on February 29, 2024.
