In the presence of Prof. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, and both Prof. Ahmed Al-Qasid, President of Menoufia University, Prof. Enas Abdel Halim, a member of the House of Representatives and Professor of Oncology, Mansoura Medicine, Prof. Osama Suleiman, Professor of Surgical Oncology, Ain Shams University, Prof. Waheed Yousry, Professor of Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Surgery, Prof. Nadia Zakhary, former Minister of Scientific Research, Prof. Hisham El-Ghazaly, Professor of Oncology and Head of the Ophthalmology Research Center, and Prof. Osama Hetta, Professor of Interventional Radiology at Ain Shams University, on Thursday, May 4, 2023, the first forum for tumors of the gastrointestinal tract and liver was held in the presence of international foreign experts, Prof. Heinz-Josef Lenz, Head of the Departments of Gastrointestinal, Liver, Colon and Pancreas Tumors, University of Southern California, USA, Professor Marks Büchler Head of the Department of Gastrointestinal, Liver and Pancreas Tumors at the University of Heidelberg - Germany, Prof. Thiaerry De Baere Head of the Interventional Radiology Department at the Gustave Rosset Institute - France, and Prof. Jafar Golzarian Professor of Interventional Radiology University of Minnesota in the United States of America, with the participation of many Professor of oncology and interventional radiology.

The achievements of the presidential initiatives for tumors, especially tumors of the liver, digestive system and colon, were discussed, followed by scientific lectures by foreign experts in the specializations of interventional radiology and oncology. This forum was held within the framework of the private sector's support for community service programs.
