Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University congratulates the winning students in the "Chinese Singing Competition: Bloom, Flowers of the Nile, Let Your Enchanting Melodies Fill the Horizons of China"

The Confucius Institute at Ain Shams University organized the "Chinese Singing Competition: Bloom, Flowers of the Nile, Let Your Enchanting Melodies Fill the Horizons of China" in the conference hall of the Faculty of Al-Alsun ​​on Tuesday, December 16th. The competition was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of the University, and in the presence of Prof. Yomna Safwat, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun; Minister-Counselor Lu Chun Sheng, Director of the Education and Science Office at the Chinese Embassy in Cairo; Prof. Hassanein Fahmy, Head of the Chinese Language Department at the Faculty of Al-Alsun; and a number of Egyptian and Chinese professors from Chinese language departments. The competition was organized under the supervision of Prof. Nasser Abdel Aal, the Egyptian Director of the Institute, and Prof. Wang Xiaohai, the Chinese Director of the Institute.

         
   
         

Thirty students from Chinese language departments at Egyptian universities participated in the competition. The winners were:

1- Grand Prize: Rumida Ragi, Suez Canal University.

2- First Place: Shared by Farihan Omar, Luxor University, and Malak Mohamed Ismail, Cairo University.

3- Second Place: Shared by Kenz Mostafa, Ain Shams University, Saif El-Din Ayman, Higher Institute of Languages ​​and Translation, and Kholoud Ahmed El-Deeb, Benha University.

4- Third Place: Shared by Malak Awais, Rana Hassan, Ain Shams University, and Rawan Wael, Sadat Academy.

This competition is part of the Confucius Institut's year-round program of scientific and cultural activities aimed at developing a cadre of young Egyptian specialists in Chinese language and studies, contributing to the strengthening of cooperation between Egypt and China in all areas of development.
