Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, extends his sincerest congratulations to His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on being awarded the highest honor bestowed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The President of Ain Shams University affirmed that this prestigious international recognition embodies the esteemed position that Egypt enjoys on the international stage and reflects His Excellency the President's strategic vision in addressing one of the most critical global challenges: ensuring food security for all peoples. This is achieved through integrated policies based on agricultural expansion, maximizing resource utilization, supporting innovation, and ensuring equitable access to food.

He added that Ain Shams University, as one of the oldest academic institutions in Egypt and the region, is proud of its visionary national leadership, which has made food and sustainable development a national priority. He emphasized the university's commitment to its scientific, research, and community role in supporting the Egyptian state's objectives and contributing to the development of qualified professionals capable of creating scientific and practical solutions to address food security challenges, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals.

The President of Ain Shams University concluded his remarks by affirming that this honor is a source of pride for all Egyptians and an incentive for state institutions, especially universities, to continue their diligent and constructive work towards a more stable, secure, and prosperous future.
