The launch of a blood donation campaign in The Faculty of science entitled "The Gift of Life A Drop of Blood = Life"

The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Science at Ain Shams University, in cooperation with the main blood bank at Ain Shams University Hospitals, is organizing a blood donation campaign under the title "The gift of life, a drop of blood = life".

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rajaa Muhammad al-Satuhi, Dean of the Faculty of Science and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amani Suleiman Khaled, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rajaa, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the campaign activities were launched on Tuesday, 1/11/2022, and will continue until Thursday 3/11/2022, stressing the university’s constant keenness to support student activities, believing in its pioneering societal role.

Dr. Amani Suleiman Khaled, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, said that the campaign activities are held in the medical center of the Faculty of Science, adding that the community service sector in the Faculty is keen to diversify the activities it organizes to include a number of educational scientific lectures, in addition to training courses in the fields of new energy, environment, and sustainable development. And community service, such as participating in the convoys organized by the university and helping the blood bank of Ain Shams University Hospitals with the blood donation campaign currently underway at the Faculty for the second year in a row.
