The activities of the School of Musculoskeletal Diseases and Neurology and the Third International Conference on Musculoskeletal and Neurological Diseases were concluded, which was organized by the Musculoskeletal Diseases Unit at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University in cooperation with the Musculoskeletal and Neurological Diseases Division of the Egyptian Society of Neurology, Neurosurgery and Psychiatry, and the Arab Federation of Neurological Disorders, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Osama Mansour, Acting Dean of Ain Shams College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Maha Sayed, Head of the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry, Prof. Dr. Azza Abdel Nasser, Director of the Neurology Unit, Ain Shams Medicine, and the Presidency of the Conference, Prof. Dr. Nagia Ali Fahmy, Director of the Musculoskeletal Diseases Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.

         
   
         

The unit of musculoskeletal diseases, Ain Shams Medicine, is the founder of the idea of ​​establishing a school to teach young doctors methods of diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal diseases.

The conference hosted experts from Egypt who specialize in these diseases, as well as seven experts in musculoskeletal diseases from Europe, Canada and America to present the latest treatment methods for these rare diseases.

The conference obtained accreditation from the American Academy of Continuing Medical Education 23 credit hours, due to the high scientific level of the conference and the level of experts participating from inside and outside Egypt.

         
   
         

During its activities, the experts participating in the conference from outside Egypt were honored. The conference recommended setting awards for the best researchers in musculoskeletal diseases in the coming years in order to encourage scientific research in the field of these diseases.
